The African Journal of Tropical Medicine and Biomedical Research (AJTMBR) welcomes collaborations with academic institutions, research organizations, and professional societies for publishing conference proceedings, special issues, and institutional research collections. This guide provides an overview of the publishing process and requirements for institutional and conference organizers.

1. Why Publish with AJTMBR?

2. Types of Institutional & Conference Submissions

We accept the following institutional and conference materials for publication:

3. Submission Process for Institutional & Conference Publishing

Step 1: Proposal Submission

Interested institutions or organizers should submit a publication proposal outlining: ???? Conference or institution name and background.

 Estimated number of articles or abstracts.
 Peer review process (if conducted before submission).
 Expected timeline for submission and publication.

Step 2: Manuscript Preparation

All submissions must follow AJTMBR formatting guidelines, including: 

Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx).
Times New Roman, 12-point font, single-spaced, 1-inch margins.
Structured abstracts (250–300 words).
Tables and figures submitted as separate high-resolution files.

Step 3: Peer Review & Editorial Evaluation

AJTMBR will assign an editorial team to oversee the publication process. If the conference organizers have conducted peer review, AJTMBR will perform an additional editorial evaluation.

Step 4: Final Approval & Publication

✔ Accepted papers will undergo copyediting and formatting.
✔ DOI assignments will be generated.
✔ The publication will be made freely available online under a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

4. Institutional & Conference Publishing Fees

AJTMBR does not charge submission fees for institutional or conference publications. However, a publication processing fee may apply based on the number of articles and editorial services required.

To ensure long-term preservation, published institutional and conference materials will be archived in:
LOCKSS/CLOCKSS repositories.
Institutional repositories (upon request).
