Abstract

The ability to utilize the PACS to conduct innumerable research has been documented and had been used to conduct several profitable and notable researches. The use of this technology made researchers whose data are domiciled in the PACS quite east and achievable. The picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) achieves this easy access to data by its working capacity of archiving, retrieving and routing or directing data to where they are needed. This is the expectation, but occasionally, things do not operate quite easily as it ought to. System failure occasioned by several intimidating factors could operate to hamper the usual smooth running of PACS.
